Recently we have had the pleasure to have Father Guy introduce a new priest, Rev. Oshioma Innocent Ogbidikhe to us who will participate as and when he can in the activities of the parish.
He describes his background as follows.
Rev. Oshioma Innocent and Mrs Augustina Ogbidikhe : A Journey of Faith and Service
Rev. Oshioma Innocent a dedicated Anglican priest from Nigeria, embarked on a new chapter of ministry when he moved to the United Kingdom. Upon arrival, he received Permission to Officiate (PTO) in the Church of England, serving under the Diocese of Coventry. During this period, his wife pursued higher education at Birmingham City University, further enriching their experience in the UK.
As time passed, professional commitments led Rev. Oshioma Innocent and his family to relocate to Radstock, Somerset. Embracing this transition, he has become part of St John the Baptist Church in Midsomer Norton, where he continues his ministry within the Diocese of Bath and Wells. Through this journey, Rev. Oshioma Innocent remained committed to his calling, bringing his experience and devotion to each community he serves.
At St John’s, Rev. Oshioma Innocent will serve in a pastoral and liturgical capacity, supporting the church’s mission within the Diocese of Bath and Wells.
