On Sunday 28th July, churches from across the Midsomer Norton Deanery came together at St John’s to celebrate the Annual Deanery Service. It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to this special service. The service was beautifully led by a group of Lay Worship Leaders, all of whom recently completed their training in the Deanery. The theme of the service stressed the different talents we all bring and asked us all to consider ‘What do you do?’. Prayers were written on paper slips that became links in a chain, a chain that was symbolically offered by being draped upon a cross.
