Sunday School
Our Sunday School welcomes children from 9.20 a.m. for a 9.30 a.m. start in the Church Hall. We are pleased to see children under three years old if they are accompanied by an adult.
On arrival there is an activity to take part in while we wait to start. Then everyone gathers together in front of our altar where prayers are said, songs are sung, stories are told and the collection is taken. Stories and activities are taken from the Scripture Union Book “Bubbles” – part of the Light series. There are always two adults in attendance each Sunday morning. We have a team of seven people who have all been CRB checked. At about 10.15 a.m. we leave the Hall and join the congregation in church to share the last part of the service.
During the year the children take an active part in some of the services. We sing songs and perform short plays at some special services e.g. Christmas, Mothering Sunday, Harvest.
